We cannot say enough about Copper Penny Flowers and the owner, Jennifer. Our wedding was outside at beautiful Flaherty Farm and I didn’t want too much taking away from what that already offered. What I did want, my one big request, was petals down the long aisle. I also knew I wanted sunflowers as the main flower and a bright colorful bouquet. Past that, I put it in Jenn’s hands. To say she and her staff outdid herself is an understatement. She asked me if it was ok to experiment with an idea she wanted to try out. SHE LINED THE AISLE WITH SUNFLOWERS THAT SHE INDIVIDUALLY PLANTED HOURS BEFORE. And then… she lined that with yellow petals. It was INCREDIBLE. I had never seen anything like it and we got so many compliments. My bridal bouquet was out of a magazine, just like the rest of Jenn’s work. She came up with all the designs for everything, all the colors and coordinated it all so perfectly together. It was the perfect pop of color and it enhanced the natural landscape without overdoing it. She was so easy to work with, flexible with last minute ideas, and the creativity proved that if you use Copper Penny as your florist, you’ll get works of art rather than florals. Copper Penny was EXCELLENT! The floral arrangements worked perfectly in the space and accentuated the color palette. Our daughter knew the kind of wedding she hoped for, but I was clueless. Enter Jennifer and Copper Penny Flowers. Thank goodness we came to them. Jennifer’s knowledge and professionalism were invaluable, but what I most appreciated was that she was kind. Never was I made to feel out of my depth or unaware “of how things are done.” Jennifer listened carefully to our ideas, suggested many options, asked insightful questions, continued to offer ideas and ask ours and in the end, her proposal needed very little adjusting. She stayed within our budget and the results were absolutely spectacular. She and her team went the extra mile for us – one example was that she spent over two hours wiring flowers to a wagon wheel hanging from the venue’s ceiling (a barn) which totally set the tone with such beauty. What a centerpiece statement for our guests as they entered! If you have the chance to use Copper Penny Flowers and Jennifer, don’t pass it up. Jennifer is the consummate pro.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jen! From the very beginning, she truly listened to what I wanted and helped bring my vision to life. She set up a shared Pinterest board, which made it feel like she completely understood my style and what I was dreaming of. Since I was planning from a far, we had a full sit-down zoom walkthrough before the event, and she took the time to go over every detail, nothing was overlooked. She was thoughtful, thorough, and gave such helpful advice throughout the entire process. On the day of, she was there in person to make sure everything went smoothly, which made me feel so relaxed! For a wedding of 150 guests, a wedding party of four attendants, and one larger floral installation, $7000 would be appropriate for our designs.
How important are your florals to your dream day? We design for a wide range of wedding sizes and budgets, as long as our visions for artistic floral designs align.How important are florals to you for your event? Copper Penny Flowers North is a boutique floral design studio working almost exclusively with premium and deluxe blooms and greenery. If flowers are not an important part of your day, we are probably not the florist for you.
Floral design prices are always dependent on the specific flowers chosen for your event. This list attempts to give the common ranges for a Copper Penny Flowers North wedding or event.
Depending upon the size of your wedding, yes. For a full-service wedding, this will be included in your contract. We may not be able to have the specific flowers you are requesting if they are out of season or unavailable, but the sample centerpiece meeting helps us hone in on colors, shape, and overall feel of the design.
Yes. The contract sets the base price for our services. You agree to that minimum for your event. You can make changes that don’t dramatically increase the overall cost. And you can add additional floral designs at additional cost. But all changes must be made at least 30 days before your event date; basically, before we order all your flowers.
Dependent on our availability, we can create florals with your unique input and our personal touch that are then packed and ready for your transport.
We can assist with most rental items. Let’s talk about your particular vision.
Every event is unique. If you have purchased the floral containers, the arrangements are yours. You can take them and repurpose if you have home events that weekend, or you can give them away. If rental pieces were part of your event and you want us to pick them up, we include that in the original contract as part of your service.
